Installation #4: A New Chapter in Our Coral Reef Conservation Journey

At La Mer Luxe, our commitment to ocean conservation is at the heart of everything we do. From our vibrant, tropical-inspired collections to our ongoing efforts to restore marine ecosystems, we strive to make a positive impact on the world we cherish.

We're thrilled to announce the completion of our fourth artificial coral reef installation off the coast of Bali, Indonesia, in partnership with the North Bali Reef Conservation. This milestone marks another significant step in our #RescueTheReef initiative, aimed at revitalizing areas where natural reefs have perished.

Building on Our Legacy

Our journey began with three unique reef structures:

Installation #1: The La Mer Luxe Coral
Our first reef featured the La Mer Luxe logo — a personal mark turned purposeful. This structure signaled the start of our partnership with North Bali Reef Conservation and anchored our commitment to ocean restoration.
Installation #2: The Goddess of the Sea
In November 2022, we introduced a striking new structure — a Hindu mermaid, the Goddess of the Sea, believed to offer good luck and protection for marine life. This elegant guardian watches over our underwater sanctuaries and stands as a symbol of beauty, grace, and oceanic wisdom.
Installation #3: The Heart of the Ocean
Our third reef was shaped like a heart, a universal symbol of love. This reef honors our love for the ocean, for the communities we work with, and for the customers who support our mission.

Each of these installations serves as a foundation for transplanting juvenile corals, fostering reef regeneration, and restoring marine habitats.

The 4th Reef: A Symbol with a Message

Unveiled in 2025, our newest reef sculpture features a large peace sign rising above the words "World Peace", a reminder that harmony among people and with nature is possible.

Planted just off the coast of Bali, this structure not only serves as a foundation for coral regeneration, but also as a powerful emblem of unity, healing, and hope for the future. As with all our reef efforts, this installation was guided by our mission to blend fashion with purpose, and to leave a lasting legacy beneath the waves.

Why Artificial Reefs Matter

Each of our reef installations is placed in areas where natural coral reefs have died due to climate change, pollution, and other environmental stressors. These sculptural foundations create a stable home where baby coral can be planted and marine life can return. Over time, the structures transform into living, breathing parts of the reef ecosystem.
